WELCOME

Friends of Usambara Society utilizes sustainable tourism, tree planting, and community forestry for Usambara Mountains conservation. With a goal to plant 100 million trees by 2025 and 1 billion nationwide by 2030, the organization seeks expanded funding and efforts in other Eastern Arc Mountain ranges. Simultaneously addressing poverty and environmental issues, the society engages students in 4-H Million Trees clubs, fostering a new generation of conservation leaders to combat climate change and promote sustainable practices for a resilient future.

Friends of Usambara's Tree Planting Project!

Please participate in our tree-planting campaign with us to help fight climate change. Your assistance advances the Sustainable Development Goals and gives people everywhere the ability to influence the world positively. Contribute funds for tree planting, offer your time, or help subsistence farmers learn about agroforestry. Establish a forest and become carbon neutral as soon as possible to combat climate change.
